What you are about to read is my story, it is straight-forward reality and for a long time I was not comfortable sharing this with others.  So I appreciate you being patient and understanding while I share with you what happened to me.

Lets get right to it…..

Over 3 years ago, I was a happy stay at home mom with 3 children.  My day consisted of soccer practices, baking cookies, cooking dinner and once and awhile I got to go to “Mom’s Bunco Night!!”  I was very blessed to be home with my children.  We did not have a lot of money, and we got married when I was only 18. This put a strain on the marriage and my husband decided it was time for him to move on. 

One day he showed up with a u-haul, packed up his stuff and drove away. There I was, with 3 kids…. no job…. no money… no skills…. and my credit was so bad, I could not even get a checking account. 

Things got worse.  The bills stacked up, and I had to go to work waitressing at night just to get by.   One point I even had less than 2 weeks to move out of my home and find a place to live.  Thank goodness for friends and family.  I am truly blessed.  Through this time I made a friend, Erik. Who helped me move and helped me realize that I was worth a lot more than I thought.  He showed me several websites to make extra income, and with just one click, the idea of real estate popped into my head.

This real estate idea was so amazing.  I went to the library and checked out over 20 books and read and read.  I spent days and nights scouring the internet and studying because I knew this was “the opportunity” that would change my life.

I searched… and searched….and searched…. and occasionally would find something that looked really good.  You know the ones- promising this is the secret strategy to make big money in Real Estate. It was the key to open the door to your real estate business.

Erik saw how focused I was, and I would show him all these great promises I was finding. I showed him all the great websites, kits, seminars, workshops, and bootcamps.  He realized I was not going to give up.  He decided to invest in me, and he used his only credit, to pay for me to attend these events, and together we attended every class we could get into.   

Each time I tried I got some information but the same results........... I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong.

 Was it all just a big scam?

Have you wondered that yourself? My friends and family were starting to laugh at me. Everyone I met told me that real estate is just a big waste of time. You have to have a lot of money, and know all the right people to be successful. The late night infomercials with “No money down” don’t really exist.  I was starting to think I was just another sucker. I spent many nights in tears wondering if I was doing the right thing.

But deep inside my core, I KNEW this was the answer to my freedom. I was just frusterated because I could not figure out the secret. 

 Until 1 day…….. 

I can still remember the day.  I had stopped buying the kits, and attending the seminars.  I realized if we were going to get a property we were going to have to stop spending and start saving.  We also needed to work on our credit.  We stopped eating out, watched every penny, and before I knew it, we had saved almost $3000.00.   We decided it was time to buy.  We went out “driving for dollars”.  This particular day, we came upon the ugliest house I had ever seen.  Erik knew this was the one. 

Asking price- $280K, we offered $210K. The agent laughed at us when Erik put in the offer.   We were doing all the things we were taught to do.  We were just hoping we were doing it right.  That same night we attended a workshop that we had been waiting months to learn more.  We met Charrissa Cawley, who shared some of her strategies.  The lightbulb went off.  We got the property at $240K with no money down, no closing cost, and within a few months we got an appraisal at $410K.

Finally, the pieces of the puzzle were falling in place!!

At least now I knew I wasn’t crazy- The way Charrissa explained it, all the gurus were just dangling the carrot.  I was buying the kits, only to realize it is just one piece of the puzzle, if I wanted to have more info, I would have to buy more.  It all made sense!!

FInally......I was able to take all the pieces from all the different classes, and put the puzzle together.  Within 1 year, I was able to help members of Your Real Estate Club purchase over 40 properties.  I created a system to make this thing work, and it was easy enough to show others how they can also create Cash Today, Cash Tomorrow and Cash for the future.

How does this help you?? 

Well, the point of me telling you this is to show you that the opportunity it there.  This is not for me to brag.  I want you to know, if I can do it, you can too!! 

This is available to anyone with the desire to learn. I know you dont have a friend willing to spend $40,000 in classes.  I want to be that friend.  I also know you might have pieces of the puzzle and not sure how to put it all together. You might still be missing pieces. Or you might just be so confused with the whole thing, you are also thinking it is a big scam.
